- Elizabeth BI first visited the Whistle Stop this past Sunday. I was delighted with the treasures I found in this quaint boutique in the heart of old St. Peters, Missouri. The young woman in the shop that day was Elena. She could not have been kinder or more helpful in answering my questions about the large selection of vendors represented in this charming 1870's house on Main Street. Among the items I purchased were two beautiful posey holders for your windows or mirrors, a delicious concoction of blended spices to whip up a fresh chicken salad or cheese ball and, last but not least, a charming little floral painting on a cross section of a branch. Such intricate details! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Whistle Stop and will be returning for more lovely and unique gifts.
